Overdose Prevention Therapy – Indiana (OptIN) is a registry of locations stocked with naloxone statewide. Use the “Find Naloxone Entity” tab above to locate naloxone near you. Naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effect of an opioid overdose and be lifesaving if administered in time.
The Indiana code aims to increase accessibility by allowing entities to sell or distribute naloxone to lay people by removing the examination requirement for prescribing opioid intervention medication via the Statewide Standing Order. Entities that sell, dispense, or distribute naloxone without examining patients, under the Standing Order, must register with OptIN.
Naloxone entities may use the buttons below to register, or update/submit annual registration, report, or standing order.
